Apple行政總裁Steve Jobs再因健康問題休假，公司營運將會交由營運總監 Tim Cook負責。

外電Business Wire轉述Steve Jobs發放給全體員工的電郵表示，他已向Apple董事會提出醫療休假，希望能專注在健康上，並獲得董事會批准。而他將會繼續保留行政總裁一職，並會參與公司的主要戰略決定。但公司的一般事務，則會交由營運總監Tim Cook。Steve Jobs說自己對Tim Cook和其他團隊充滿信心，確切地執行Apple於2011年內所有計劃。

最後，Steve Jobs說自己十分熱受Apple，並希望能盡快回到工作崗位上。但同時，希望外界專重他的家人和他自己的個人私穩。

信中並未有交待復職日期。

而事實上，Steve Jobs的健康問題一直引起外界關注。在2009後，因為肝臟出現癌症復發而需要進行換肝。但看來問題仍未能完全解決，只希望他放下工作，好好調理身體。

Team,

At my request, the board of directors has granted me a medical leave of
absence so I can focus on my health. I will continue as CEO and be
involved in major strategic decisions for the company.

I have asked Tim Cook to be responsible for all of Apple's day to
day operations. I have great confidence that Tim and the rest of the
executive management team will do a terrific job executing the exciting
plans we have in place for 2011.

I love Apple so much and hope to be back as soon as I can. In the
meantime, my family and I would deeply appreciate respect for our
privacy.
